YURI

PLEASE NOTE: ALL INFORMATION IN THIS JOURNAL IS SPECIFIC TO MY VERSION OF ONE OF MANY POSSIBLE INTERPRETATIONS OF YURI, AND SHOULD IN NO WAY BE SEEN AS ME TRYING TO ASSERT THAT THIS IS THE "CORRECT" OR "CANON" VERSION.

Due to the very nature of the anime/game, all versions of Yuri can technically be seen as "AU" depending on how you look at things. Therefore, while my portrayal of the character through this RP account will be heavily based on a combination of what we have seen in the show (so far) as well as the "male" route of the game specifically, I will also just additionally be using a combination of my personal headcanon, information that can be insinuated via official art/interviews, and my own personal preferences to fill in certain blanks within Yuri's personality.

I plan on writing a lor (and I mean A LOT) of rambles explaining my thought processes and certain takes on the character within this journal eventually, but please know that no one has any reason to read any of this crap in order to play with me. (In fact, unless you are playing some kind of mind-reader/hyper-intelligent know-it-all character, I'd say there is probably little-to-no reason to waste your time looking too deeply into these informative posts of mine, but I'll leave them open and readable in case it helps anyone I'm playing with get inspiration for our thread!)

Also: I have also created alternate accounts for a Female Yuri, as well as a Gnosia Yuri just to play around with, which are still being worked on. Those alternate accounts will be linked here when they are finished being set up, in case anyone is interested in having fun with alt versions!

One final additional note: Any information shown here may possibly be changed at any time as the anime hasn't been completed yet (8 more episodes to go as of my time writing this) and I am constantly revising my headcanon based on how the show goes, as well as my personal preferences.

(More info on my interpretation of Yuri's unique relationship with gender and how it may differ from his canon counterparts will be expanded upon later! But for the most part, you will probably see me arbitrarily flip-flopping between "they" and "he" within my tags. Don't worry about matching my flow too much. As I said- Yuri doesn't care how he's addressed and neither does his mun.)
